Reese’s peanut butter creme eggs are in NZ now and here's why they're an elite easter treat

going straight in my basket x

I thought easter egg hunts were behind me, but now that Reese’s peanut butter creme eggs are in NZ, I’ll be pushing kids out of the way.

The Warehouse has them on sale now and we got to try the cute little milk chocolate eggs with peanut butter inside of them.

The consensus was that they taste exactly like Reese’s iconic choc cups, which for most of us meant they were yummy AF. However, others described the eggs as “too sweet” or just not for them.

They’ve been around in other parts of the world for a couple of years now, but 2024 is the first time they’re here in NZ. I swear we’re always last with these things.

Another way you could be the Easter envy amongst your friends is to try and get your hands on the viral biscoff hot cross buns that just hit NZ supermarkets.

They're already sold out online (for now) but are available in four-packs at Woolworths/Countdown if you can bust out your Easter egg-hunting skills early.

Tiktoker @bynessa sent the buns viral on TikTok, with her video of the oozy Biscoff dream attracting over two million views and hundreds of thousands of likes.

Honestly, 2024 has been the year of food I never knew I needed.

We're barely three months into the year and already had Pineapple Lump flavoured Squiggles, adult Happy Meals at McDonald’s and just last week it was announced KFC will be running a bougie fine-dining pop-up in Auckland. What a time to be alive.

Easter is still like a month away so by the time it comes around I'd have devoured enough treats for the whole extended family.
