Imagine if Squiggles and a fruity Pineapple Lump had a baby. Yep, the iconic Kiwi flavour has been jam-packed into one bikkie.
We all know the usual Squiggles have the soft centred filling, but this new addition also includes pineapple chunks.
It’s not unusual for fruit and chocolate to merge fabulously together. But as someone who isn’t that fussed by the standard choccy and pineapple mix, I was hesitant when these rocked up to the office.
However, after smashing a few back, it’s safe to say the whole team are here for the new afternoon snack.
A “pleasantly surprised” taster said: “It’s not as sweet as I expected, which is a good thing.”
That’s probably for the best considering, we won’t be shying away from snatching a couple in one go.
Another reckoned it "tasted more like banana", which left all of our tastebuds confused.
The highlight? “The tiny chewy pineapple pieces,” our final reviewer shared giving the biscuit an overall rating of 9/10.
The new pineapple Squiggles are hitting shelves up and down the country, but they'll only be around for a good time, not a long one.
