"Divorce feels like'" Meg's poem in reply to Kanye West's 'suffocating' feeling

Kanye West shared a 'suffocating' divorce poem but Meg says there are two sides to a divorce.

If his recent spiral wasn't enough, Kanye 'Ye' West is letting his feelings known following his split from Kim Kardashian.

Two days after Kim was legally declared single, Ye posted a poem on what 'divorce feels like'.

“Divorce feels like full blown Covid. Divorce feels like your doctor don’t know shit,” Ye’s poem read.

“Divorce feels like you’re walking on glass. Divorce feels like you’re running through a glass wall. Divorce feels like you’re being bullied in a class hall. Divorce feels like you’re getting beat up in the mall.”

Continuing for several more lines, Ye says “Divorce feels like your teeth being pulled with pliers,”

However, as Meg says on The Edge Breakfast,  while Ye's poem highlights the valid, painful side of divorce, there is another side.

"There is also  another side if you are in an unhappy, abusive, manipulative, loveless marriage" Meg wrote on Instagram.

"Divorce could be the start of your new life,  so I wrote poem for those who are finally free."

Read Meg's poem below:

Divorce feels like an evening with warm sun on your back
Divorce feels like watching a child open their Santa sack
Divorce feels like being hungry then eating a snack
Divorce feels like finding 20 dollars in your jean pocket
Divorce feels like selling an item and then making a profit
Divorce feels like Hanging up that new top you love in your closet
Divorce feels like getting into fresh sheets in your bed
Divorce feels like remembering that compliment someone once said
Divorce feels better than the day that you wed
Divorce feels like running late but then getting the last park
Divorce feels like bright lights when in your head it was once dark
Divorce feels like new connections, eye contact, a spark Your fresh start
Divorce feels like appreciation for the food that your serve
Divorce feels like being bullied but then finding your nerve
Divorce feels like giving yourself the love you deserve
