Bloody Mary 

Okay, this one isn't so much 'trending' as it is 'timeless', but spooky season absolutely calls for a themed-drink. The best part about this one is, once Halloween's over, it's also known for its healing properties when it comes to a dusty morning after.

No shaker required, and you can adjust the measurements to your taste. 

  • Vodka 
  • Tomato juice 
  • Lemon juice 
  • Salt 
  • Pepper 
  • Spices - (Worcestershire sauce, chilli sauce, horseradish are some classics)   
  • Celery stalk to garnish

This liquid masterpiece takes two of the most iconic summer drinks of all time and combines them.

You're gonna start with a classic marg recipe, like so: 

  • 45mls tequila 
  • 30mls lime juice 
  • 30mls cointreau 

Then top your glass with rosé wine - sparkling or otherwise! You could rim it with a little pink himalayan salt and add a few strawbs for garnish - extra points if you cut them into hearts!

As good as a Kiwi summer can be, sometimes you really just want to be in a tropical paradise - and this cocktail will make you feel like you're lounging on a beachside cabana when you really might just be chilling in a Bunnings paddling pool in the backyard.

  • 40mls Coconut Milk
  • 40mls  Orange Juice

Shake and pour over ice before garnishing with fresh fruit.
