Former 'MAFS AU' groom breaks silence a week after 'traumatic' $90k drug bust

"I’m finally checking in after what’s been an extremely traumatic week."

You might have seen 'Married At First Sight' former groom Sebastian Guilhaus making headlines last week after his house was raided by police which saw 870 grams worth of methamphetamine allegedly in his possession.

The star has now broken his silence just one week after the drug bust and his arrest.

In a series of videos uploaded to his Instagram Stories, Sebastian opened up about his recent personal struggles.

“Hello everybody, I’m finally checking in after what’s been an extremely traumatic week,” he began.

“I am not going to comment on the situation as it’s ongoing and could be ongoing for quite a while so I don’t want to impede that process.”

He then thanked his friends and family for showing him support during the "stress" of this situation.

“I’m just focussing on all the controllable, forging a new daily routine, all of these things, training two to four hours a day, what I’m eating. I’m starting to battle my ADHD head-on and all of my other mental health issues,” Seb said.

He added: “I’ve been thrust right into maybe a little bit of trauma, rewiring."

“Overall, life works for us, not WITH us, so I’ll overcome this hurdle. It’s a period of growth and healing and getting on with life. So that’s what I’ll be doing.”

ICYMI, According to The Advertiser, the Serious and Organised Crime Branch detectives nabbed Guilhaus at his home in Croydon.

Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson had some strong words to say about this big-time haul.

“Methamphetamine causes terrible harm to users and to our communities,” he said.

“THOSE WHO TRAFFIC ILLICIT DRUGS IN THESE AMOUNTS DO SO PURELY FOR THEIR OWN GREED, THEY HAVE NO CARE FOR OTHERS.”

The Adelaide Magistrates Court wasn't messing around, charging the 35-year-old reality star with one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine.
