Simon Leviev, A.K.A. The Tinder Swindler, has got himself in a lot of trouble with the billionaire family he claimed he was apart of.

In the Netflix doco The Tinder Swindler, Simon claims to be the son of Dimond Billionaire Lev Leviev, and uses Tinder and his "wealth" to scam women out of thousands of dollars. Spolier alert... he definitely is not related to the real Leviev family - who are legitimately rich and famous from their diamond empire.

It's not too surprising that when the doco came out, the real Leviev family weren't overly stoked to have their name associated with a conman, so they're now trying to take their fake relative to court.

As reported by LadBible, lawyers for the real Leviev family filed a criminal complaint in Tel Aviv's Magistrates Court, accusing Simon of using their family name for "criminal purposes."

Attorney Guy Ophir said in a statement that this is the first of many complaints to be laid against the conman, and they intend on donating the obtained money to the victims of Simon's crimes.
