The 'Tinder Swindler' Simon Hayut has been banned from a bunch of dating apps, including Tinder, following his rise to fame on Netflix.

If you haven't watched the doco yet, we'd highly suggest watching it. It exposes Simon for using Tinder to scam women out of thousands of dollars, roughly $15 million NZD in fact.

Simon still had a Tinder account when the doco was released, but the dating app was quick to block him from the platform. A spokesperson said:

"In the lead-up to the release of the documentary, we conducted additional internal investigations and can confirm Simon Leviev is not active on Tinder under any of his known aliases."

While Tinder was Simon's chosen app to scam women, other dating apps have followed suit. These apps include Hinge, Match.com, OkCupid, PlentyOfFish and others, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Plus, Simon deleted his Instagram a couple of days ago, but there still appears to be Instagram accounts with his name and photos. Whether they are actually him is hard to tell.
