1. The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman
Honestly, this doco is like The Tinder Swindler, but on steroids. It tells the story of conman Robert Hendy-Freegard, who swindled around one million pounds out of at least 8 different people. He pretended he was a secret agent and controlled the lives of his victims for years, and is still a free man. 10/10 recommend.
2. Inventing Anna
Inventing Anna is a new ten-part true crime series on Netflix. it follows a journalist investigating a heiress named Anna, who stole money from New York elites. A great series, especially since its based on a true story!
3. Sour Grapes
This film came out back in 2016, but still remains somewhat unknown. It's a super interesting true-crime film that follows wine fraudster Rudy Kurniawan, who lied his way into wealthy circles and swindled his rich friends out of a bunch of money. Unfortunately this one isn't on Netflix, but if you have a VPN you may be able to track it down.
4. Dirty Money
This Netflix series is an investigation into different scams, schemes and crimes that people have committed to get rich. Each episode follows a different scam, and is a real eye opener into the greed some people have in the corporate world.
5. Don't f**k with Cats
The chances are that if you're reading this article, you've most likely already seen Don't F**k with Cats, but we couldn't leave it out just incase you haven't. This insane doco-series follows cat killer Luka Magnotta as internet sleuths band together to find him. Things get very disturbing. Also if you didn't know, the same creators as Tinder Swindler made Don't F**k with Cats.
