KitKat cookie dough-filled croissants are a thing and an AKL bakery is giving them out for FREE

When and where? We're there!

KitKat has teamed up with an Auckland-based bakery to hand out heaps of croissants filled with their new choccy bar flave.

DOMO bakery in Takapuna to create a cookie dough-filled croissant that would have the tooth fairy shaking in her boots.

Famous for their creative twists on classic treats, DOMO is now the first-ever 'Breakery’, giving away 500 croissants on March 16th and 17th until they’re all snagged - good thing there’s a limit of 2 per person, cos I know someone who could down a fair few in one sitting.

If you can’t make it to the giveaway, they’ve shared that if you whisper the secret code “I need a break” in-store you’ll be able to dig your teeth into a free-limited edition croissant.

DOMO has also shared that you do need to be over 16 years old to get your sticky little fingers on a croissant - yeahhh, let us big kids have a treat!

Fern Castellanos, Nestlé's Head of Marketing said: “It’s great to give Kiwis what they have been asking for - the most requested KitKat Chunky flavour.”

DOMO bakery Head Baker Langdon Wang is equally buzzing over their new sweet treat, saying: “Creating our signature croissants with KitKat was a delight. The fluffy pastry has been filled with a house-made cream using KitKat Cookie Dough doused in decadent dark chocolate and sprinkled with the KitKat Chunky bar.”

The new choccy bars are now on supermarket, dairy and petrol station shelves.
