Your Iphone Battery Is Dying Mid-Selfie Sesh Cos Of A 'Vampire Setting' - But There's a Fix

Keep the IG stories coming this summer.

Turns out your phone's draining battery is actually due to one setting we all never knew to change.

The ‘vampire setting’, as it’s known, is infamous for draining your phone faster than swiping left on a thousand terrible Tinder profiles.

Here's how to suss these sus settings so they don't ruin hot gal summer by killing your phone (and your vibe).

It's really just got to do with 'Wi-Fi Assist.' This bad boi lets you jump onto mobile data when the network's dragging its feet - AKA at R&V with the other 30,000 people trying to round up their besties for a mish to the main stage.

Sure, it helps you upload your 2198 IG stories no one asked for or needed, but it’s also a silent battery assassin and is automatically switched on for all iPhones.

To turn it off quicker than your BFF untagging herself from a pic where you look hot but she does not, head to your settings.

Hit up 'Mobile Data,' and scroll way down. You'll find 'Wi-Fi Assist' chilling above 'iCloud Drive.'

Tap it off (it should look grey) and BOOM!

You can also preserve that sweet battery life by adjusting your screen brightness.

Flick on 'Auto-Brightness' in 'Accessibility' under 'General' in 'Settings.'

Better living everybody, and we’ll catch you on our feeds this summer!
