Steph Monks' ultimate skincare guide for glowy skin all summer long

Slip, slop, slap on the best reccomendations from our gal Steph!

I’m no skincare expert - don’t ask me about ingredients lol - BUT, I love it. I love the process, I love the routine and I love the confidence it gives me. Here’s my skincare regime at the moment, a mix of high-end products and cheapies-but-goodies.

Me Today Balm Cleanser
I use this at night to remove any makeup that didn’t already sweat off during the day because HOW HOT AMIRIGHT?!

CeraVe SA Smoothing Cleanser
I’ve found it hard in the past to find a cleanser that works for me. So, after lots of trial and error, I’ve landed on this. I use it every AM, and after balm cleansing in the PM. My face feels super, duper clean, and it’s great for acne-prone skin like mine.

Me Today Dual Mist Toner
I love spraying this on my face after cleansing. It’s refreshing and smells yummy!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream
Okay, this is an expensive moisturiser, BUT it’s so worth it. A little goes a long way - so it lasts ages. It feels light on the skin and so moisturising.

Origins Ginzing Eye Cream
This is a great eye cream to dab on those bags to feel awake, refreshed and alive - especially good on a morning after a late night.

Sunday Riley 5 Stars Retinol Eye Cream
I use this one at night. It’s pricey, but you don’t need to use much of it at all, so it lasts a long time. It’s light and creamy and works a bit of magic overnight. Don’t use it if you're hapu - there’s retinol in it.

La Roche-Posay Invisible Fluid Sunscreen
The last step is the most important. SPF is crucial here in NZ all year round, but especially in these hot summer months. This one I love for the face. It doesn’t smell, it’s great under makeup, and doesn’t leave your skin feeling oily.

Now go get that summer glow!
