McDonald's Chocolate Soft Serve is finally being trialed in NZ

Just my luck the soft serve machine won't be working the day I try getting this.

If you're someone who loves a Maccas soft serve but thought 'this needs more chocolate' we've got some good news.

Well, I mean I guess you could have got it dipped in chocolate with the flake but then you might have thought 'this needs less chocolate'.

But then again... I guess you could have just got a McFlurry or a Hot Fudge Sundae. But if you thought 'I specifically wanted more chocolate in my soft serve without the need for a chocolate drizzle.'

WELL, now I've got some good news for you!

McDonald's has announced that they'll be trialing chocolate soft serves "at some restaurants in early 2023." And while we might not be getting a full launch across all restaurants like Australia, we'll take what we can get.

The news comes as Maccas announces their new summer range including a brand new McFlurry flavour.

"Dessert fans will be excited about the introduction of the McFlurry with Caramilk Hokey Pokey," said a Spokesperson for McDonald's NZ.

"Grand Big Mac and Mac Jr are back to complete the Mac family, along with the return of chocolate and Milky Bar McDip, and Mac n Cheese bites."

Keep an eye out at your local Maccas for the new summer range and if you see a chocolate soft serve pop up in the new year, let us know!
