This year's snacking game is about to change because Shapes has announced the arrival of three new 'Fully Loaded' flavours just in time for those summer picnics.
Catching me entirely off guard, Shapes just rolled up and casually mic-dropped their new range, which features Sizzling Meatlovers, Flame Grilled Chicken and Ultimate Cheese. Drooling? Drooling.
According to Shapes' brand manager Kareena Franicevich, these new Fully Loaded fellas are "different to traditional Shapes", which is vague… but also, like, ok, I'm listening.
“The Shapes Fully Loaded range has set a whole new bar when it comes to flavour and crunch, so we’re excited to see it land here in Aotearoa," Kareena said in a statement.
“The new textures and flavours these Fully Loaded biscuits offer are different to traditional Shapes, and we hope Kiwi fans love crunching them as much as we do!”
K sorry but slightly alarmed that we're calling them biscuits? Since when? But I'm excited so I'll look past that for now.
What's also bloody good is that unlike a whole lot of other delicious things like cheese and chocolate, these new Shapes aren't going to cost you an arm and a leg - just around $3.50 a box. Yes, we're still upset about the price of Whittaker's choc going up, and no, we won't stop talking about it (or buying it tbh, I'll Afterpay that shit if I have to).
Anyway, the new range is hitting shelves around mid-October but until then, I'll just be sitting here in my feels.
