Netflix's new dating show is called 'Dated and Related' and both me and my siblings are afraid

“When it comes to the battle for love, should you keep it in the family?”

Things might get a little awkward in Netflix’s new reality series ‘Dated & Related’, where siblings go on their search for love.

Admittingly, we were put off by the title too, but don’t get too set on THAT idea because the actual concept of the show is actually much more innocent, but just as cringe!

We already know what happens when a bunch of sexy singles are shoved into a villa and get together, but what happens when siblings are thrown in the mix?

That’s taking homie hopper to another level!

The trailer for the 10-episode series asks, “When it comes to the battle for love, should you keep it in the family?”

‘Who better to have in your corner than your brother or sister who will be joining you in the search for love?’

Odd choice of words but we’ll keep rolling with it.

The clip shows overprotective brothers keeping their sisters away from the “bad boy trap”, and “doing whatever they can to protect” them.

We’re not sure if that’s sweet or part of the problem, but we can’t wait to find out!

Of course, with any reality show, emotions will run high and the waterworks will run non-stop and we already have a glimpse of some of the best juicy moments.

The trailer continues: “There has to be someone out there that wants to be with me as much as I want to be with them,” one contestant tearfully admits while in another clip twin sisters are seen both breaking down into tears.

Having someone who understands you better than anybody else should help you navigate the tricky world of dating, right?

But, with awkward double dates, "hella PDA and shared DNA", having your sibling at arms reach can either be the perfect wingman or the worst cock block.

Either way, we’ll be ready to watch all of the awkward conversations and juicy af moments on September 2nd!
