A new groom preparing to tie the knot on the upcoming season of ‘Married At First Sight Australia’ has been accused of dumping his girlfriend to join the hit reality show.
Am I seeing double? First Harrison Boon and his ‘secret girlfriend’ from last season and now this. Oy vey!
So who is this sneaky ‘single’ joining the 2024 season? According to The Daily Mail, his name is Jacob (Jack) Dunkley a personal trainer from the Gold Coast.
According to Yahoo! Lifestyle, the alleged girlfriend (now ex) of Jack wrote to The Wash that she was led to believe Jacob broke up with her because he was moving overseas for a job - my jaw is on the floor.
“Breaks up with me right after I met his family and he told me he loves me,” she began.
“Tells me it’s for [a] ‘work opportunity in America’ only to find out he’s on MAFS in Sydney.”
“The world we live in disgusts me.” Ain’t that the truth!
She added: “I even started selling my furniture when we were together as we spoke about moving in together.”
“This is definitely the worst thing a man has ever done to me.”
“I’d been driving myself crazy for a month wondering why everything was so shady [when he ended it]. Good luck to his new wife,” she finished.
The 2024 season of ‘MAFS’ is currently filming so get prepared for a whole new round of drama and screaming matches across the dinner party table.
I’d be lying if I said I’m not already strapped right tf in for this season - maybe that’s their plan.
Something tells me this little secret may make its way into the show, and if it does, I’mma have the popcorn ready! Bring it on.
