Taylor Swift just added two more Australian shows of the Eras Tour after 'unprecedented' demand

Taylor Swift 's added two extra shows just in time for the general release of tickets for her Eras Tour

As if Kiwi Swifties hoping to see the Eras Tour in Australia haven't been on enough of an emotional rollercoaster - Taylor Swift has just added two extra shows to her schedule down under.

An additional show in both Melbourne and Sydney was announced this morning "following historically unprecedented demand for tickets" in the Australian pre-sales.

Taylor will perform again at the MCG in Melbourne on Feb 18 and at Sydney's Accor Stadium on Feb 26.

Tickets for the new shows will go on sale on Friday, along with the remaining tickets from the originally scheduled concerts. All the stressed Swifties who were giving themselves stomach ulcers from the presale panic should surely be able to breathe a small sigh of relief now.

No, we're not Out Of The Woods yet, but knowing there are extra chances to grab seats now makes us feel Ready For It come tomorrow's ticket grab. (Soz, couldn't help myself!)

This new show means Taylor is going to be the first artist to play three shows at the MCG since Madonna in 1993. Iconic.

Not to freak anyone out, but the official word from the promoters is that there will be NO extra shows added to the Australian tour after these ones.

Don't forget that amidst all this chaos, we've also got your chance to take three mates to Aus to see the Eras Tour for FREE - more about that here.
