WTF: Did Kylie Jenner actually wear a lion's head to the Schiaparelli Haute Couture show?

"These animal heads at the Schiaparelli show are disturbing."

Kylie Jenner has got the internet roaring after making quite the statement during day one of Haute Couture Week in Paris, wearing a rather large lion's head on her shoulder.

Forget the devil and the angel, Kylie chose the king of the jungle to be her accessory during Schiaparelli's show.

Believe it or not, Kylie wasn’t the only one to stand out with the jungle-themed adornment. The runway was full of similar animals featuring on multiple of Schiaparelli's Summer/ Spring designs.

If you’re like me, wondering how they managed to get away with that, you must know that no animals were harmed in the making of these designs.

Kylie herself wanted to make that very clear, posting to Instagram with the caption: “Wow I loved wearing this faux art creation constructed by hand using manmade materials. beautiful beautiful.”

Each animal head was hand sculpted and painted by Daniel Roseberry, so kudos for making them look so realistic and having the ultimate attention to detail, but I need to know… Why did we need to go down that route?!

Of course, fans are losing it on Twitter, with one calling the heads “disturbing”.

Another labelled the bold looks “sick and vile”.

And plenty more agreed.

Who would’ve thought Doja Cat was the one to play it safe? Sitting just one chair away from Kylie, Doja’s monochromatic Swarovski crystal look seemed to somehow blend in?!

With a look that took Pat Mcgrath’s team five hours and 30,000 red Swarovski crystals to turn Doja into the sparkling goddess she is, you’d be hoping to see her stand out from the crowd.

Her look didn’t go unnoticed and unlike Kylie’s faux faux-pas, people were loving Doja’s bold style.

One Twitter user doesn’t think anyone could top her dazzling look.

Another said “Doja Cat would be Elmo if he slayed,” and that sounds like a top-tier compliment to me.

A third joked that they were following Doja’s Swarovski trail - I would too!

Between these two looks, it’s safe to say that no one is playing it safe at Haute Couture Week 2023, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come!
