Post Malone has wrapped up his stop in Auckland alongside the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and I think we can all agree it was one heck of a concert. From an epic mid-show monologue to his outstanding dance breaks, Post really shone during his set in Tāmaki Makaurau.

It wasn’t just his stage time that made his fans love him, Post was spotted out multiple times in Auckland during his visit this weekend and every interaction looked like the sweetest, down-to-earth experience ever.
In the lead-up to playing at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland, Post was spotted at fellow artist Kehlani’s sold-out concert at Spark Arena on Friday night.
Despite trying to keep a low profile, fans were quick to spot the star and ask for pictures. Luckily, there was no hesitation and every interaction was super friendly.
On Sunday, after his RHCP opening act, the singer was caught on his way to getting a feed on the viaduct. The boys hooked him in for a bit of a Tongan language lesson, but unfortunately for Post, he knew it wasn’t just the basics of “hello” and “thank you”.
Post is heard saying “oh man, they’re all cuss words,” before he was egged on to say one himself.
After that hilarious interaction, Post and his crew stopped off for a feed at Soul bar on Auckland’s Viaduct, where he was spotted yet again by a Kiwi fan.
Of course, being the kind man he is, Post was more than friendly offering a smile and a wave to the camera.
It seems as though Post has had an incredible time here in NZ, and thanked his audience at Saturday night’s show.
“Thank you so much for coming to hang out with me tonight, it means the f***ing world to me. This is so f***ing cool, I think the last time I [performed] here was 2019, but honestly, nothing’s f***ing changed, you guys are still so f***ing beautiful,” Post shouted to the crowd as he hyped everyone up for the rest of his performance.
“I also want to say thank you to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers for having me out here. This is super f***ing cool and this is the first stop of the tour, I was super nervous because with such an epic and incredible band, who wants to hear me play my sh*tty songs, so I appreciate you guys hanging out with me right now,” he finished raising a cup to cheers the audience.
Of course, we can’t forget the highlight of his visit - the 22-second dance break that honestly has made my 2023 already!
It’s epic to see such huge artists come back to NZ and truly enjoy their time surrounded by the love and support we have to give. Here’s hoping Post Malone is back before we know it!
