This MAFS 2022 cast member has entered the Love Island AU villa, and I'm LOSING IT

A hot new bombshell has entered the villa...

Rumour has it there’s a familiar face on the latest season of Love Island Australia and now Sophie Monk has confirmed that the bombshell is Al Perkins from 2022’s Married At First Sight.

Sophie expressed her excitement at Al Perkins joining the show describing him as a “perfect” choice to Yahoo Lifestyle.

“I was watching him on MAFS and straightaway when I saw him I thought, ‘Why is he not on Love Island?’ because he had never had a girlfriend when he got married. So I think it’s really good for him.”

Although this isn’t Al’s first reality TV gig, Sophie shared that he was “perfectly humble on set.”

She added that “he’s hilarious and he really had a good time.”

“He’s just a very sweet, innocent guy. He hasn’t got a bad bone in his body.”

“He sometimes speaks without thinking, and I don’t even know if it will make the cut sometimes but he’s hilarious.”

Tbh, it makes sense that Al has joined the show - Love Island and MAFS Aus are both linked to Aussie's Nine Network, so it really it’s the perfect reality TV swapsies.

Early last month, during the filming of the latest season, Daily Mail released some sneaky snaps of Al looking like he was having the time of his life, lounging around on set in Spain.

Oh to be so lucky…

Despite not being so lucky with his first Marriage on MAFS, it’s looking like Love Island might be giving him his second chance at finding his perfect match, or bromance - you know how it goes!
