In some news that would’ve sent 2016 me reeling, the ‘Try Guys’ and Ned Fulmer have split ways after it was discovered Ned was cheating on his wife with a staff member.
The group posted to their Instagram this morning saying that after “a thorough internal review, we do not see a path forward together” with Ned.
Although this did not confirm the cheating allegations, Ned soon admitted to them with his own post. He said that “family should have always been my priority, but I lost focus and had a consensual workplace relationship” before apologising to “the guys and the fans but most of all to Ariel.” Ariel being his wife and the mother of his children.
Ariel herself also released a statement. She thanks “everyone who has reached out”, reiterates that her family is hugely important to her, and requests “privacy for the sake of our kids”.
Fans started noticing something was up when the usual ‘Try Guy’ foursome - which originally started at Buzzfeed before going solo in 2018 - only contained three guys, with Ned being absent from any content the group had released for a couple of weeks.

Videos were also edited weirdly, with odd-looking backgrounds that had obviously been cropped, weird angles being used, and someone with the same shirt as Ned being spotted in the background of a video.
Redditor u/hamilton930 then posted to the r/TryGuys subreddit that they had proof Ned had been cheating on his wife with someone that the Redditor knew, with video evidence.
Apparently, the married Ned was not “even trying to be private” while “making out [and] touching her too”.
There are reports that the woman Ned cheated with is Alex Herring, an associate producer for Try Guys and host of a series called ‘Food Babies’ which is posted on the Try Guys Youtube channel.
According to @camitwomeyy on Twitter (shoutout to them for making a great thread about the whole scandal), Alex’s fiancé removed all photos with her on social, unfollowed her, and then went private, which is not something a happily engaged couple would do.
That’s all the tea for now and probably for the foreseeable future as all sides have released a statement.
This is fkn messed up seeing as Ned was kind of known as the loving husband of the group, with his wife appearing on the show a few times and her Instagram just being exclusively baby photos!!
