Let me start by saying if you were to ask me what Don’t Worry Darling is about, I honestly couldn’t tell you.
And to be completely honest, I don’t even really care at this point, all I want to know is what the FK has gone on between the cast.
It feels like the MAFS producers have moved into the movie business because the drama has been out the gate and this week, has spilled out onto the red carpet premiere of the movie.
The Day started with everyone talking about Florence Pugh ‘refusing to make eye contact with the director, Olivia Wilde, after rumours the pair had a massive falling out after Wilde and Harry started dating. (that’s a whole storyline in itself which I don’t have time for but you can go see all the tea here.)
The day went on with a bizarre AF interview from Harry Styles through to the headline event, and the reason you’re even here, ol’ mate Harry launching a spit bomb on Chris Pine.
I felt sorry for Chris Pine, his day started with taking boyfriends of Instagram-worthy pics of Florence Pugh, and somehow he ended up having to be that mate that’s just trying to keep the peace between everyone.

Going viral on TikTok, a video shows Harry Styles taking his set next to Chris Pine (who’s awkwardly been placed in the middle of him and Olivia, again… another storyline in itself). As Harry takes his seat, we see him looking directly over Chris as his reaction looks as if he’s just been spat on.
Clapping along with the crowd, you see Chris stop, looking down in disbelief as he gives a ‘are you FKing serious’ look, before shaking his head, laughing to himself as if he’s thinking honestly what am I doing here, before reaching for his sunglasses.
It didn’t take long for the video to blow up online with everyone watching the video in .5x speed to try and figure out, did Chris actually get spit on? Or did he just think he’d lost his glasses before spotting them in his lap thinking ‘I’m such an idiot h a h a’ which just happened to be at the exact time Harry sat down?
Well luckily for all of us, Chris’ team has given us an answer once and for all.
“This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion,” said a rep in a statement to Variety.
“Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men.”
So there we have it, conspiracy theorists take a set, but not next to Harry Styles because you might be spat on….. kidding x
