For the first ep of The Edge Unplugged, Sean was joined by Yungblud ahead of his New Zealand show.

'I am very excited to be here,' the singer said, before admitting he was still a bit dusty from the night before.

Before talking about his self-titled third album, 'Yungblud', Sean asked about his long-time friendship with Lewis Capaldi.

'Every time we're at a big award show or see each other, we always get a bit soppy.'

Yunglud also spoke about his dreams to play a DC Villain, taking big inspo from Jim Carrey's roles as The Riddle and The Mask.

Speaking of his upcoming album, Yungblud spoke openly about his career and not wanting to become a 'rockstar'.

'With this record, I've finally found a place where I can genuinely be myself and feel protected.

I call it Yungblud because it started as a community, if people don't know what I am, it's a movement.

'I never want to become a rockstar, or unaccessible. I'm here to tear up the rule book or scare people.'
