Calling all skincare obsessives and make-up lovers: Heaven on earth in the form of a fully immersive beauty weekend is about to make its way to Aotearoa.

Beauty Nation, described as the beauty equivalent of one of the world's biggest music festivals, is set to debut at Auckland's Shed 10 on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of May.

The two-day event will have six different interactive zones, including a Retail Lane, a Beauty School, A Pamper Zone and even a Man Cave that features a barbershop and a place for the boys to "chill out".

At the Pamper Lounge you can indulge in express treatments like mani-pedis, blow waves and brow grooming. Or if you're keen to be inspired, you can swing past the Beauty Forum to attend seminars and masterclasses from beauty experts.

There's also a dedicated Drag Zone and a meet and greet opportunity with the winner of RupPaul's Drag Race Down Under Season 1, Kita Mean.

"My signature drag makeup has been my best-kept secret for over a decade now but finally all my secrets will be revealed at Beauty Nation!" the drag superstar said.

"I will be doing some never before seen things in the Drag District of the festival and I can't wait to share in the fun with everyone that comes along. Who knows, maybe you might get the chance to have your makeup done by me."

Brands like BraveFace, Glow Lab. Dust & Glow, Antipodes and The Whitening Co will be on show, with more to be announced. Plus, there's an Aotearoa Made section celebrating our homegrown beauty brands.

Tickets are already on sale with day passes starting at $39 and VIP tickets available.
