Whittaker's is releasing a limited-edition Gingerbread block, and consider my stocking stuffed

That's going straight under my tree!

Whittaker’s Chocolate has officially kicked off the holiday season by adding a new limited-edition Gingerbread block to their range, and I can’t wait to smash the block back in one sitting!

Gingerbread blocks will be made from Whittaker’s classic cocoa Creamy Milk chocolate and a mix of spiced gingerbread pieces mixed throughout. To add a little extra spice to the blocks crystallised ginger and golden syrup have been thrown into the mix to sweeten up even the grumpiest grinches this holiday season - you know who you are!

Whittaker's have been super busy lately after the release of their latest Hazella flavour, but that hasn’t stopped them from getting into the holiday spirit, and now they have announced this new mouth-watering creation.

Listen to the Talking Out The Trash podcast have an unashamed bitch-fest about the sad racists who were triggered by Whittaker's renaming one of their choc blocks for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori:

Tamra Lindsay, Whittaker’s Brand Manager, says the chocolatiers are pleased to offer a new way for Chocolate Lovers to celebrate the festive season.

“Gingerbread Block is the tastiest way to spread some cheer this Christmas. Use it as an end-of-year thank you, stocking stuffer or even a Halloween treat – it really lends itself to any occasion,” she said.

Tamra added: “It makes for a quick and easy option if you want to give someone a gift, and whether it’s being shared with a loved one or is just something from you to you, the Limited Edition Gingerbread Block is too special not to share!”

The chocolate company say that the Gingerbread block is going to be a “limited-edition” to their range of tasty chocolate so it won’t be around for long - Shhh don't tell anyone, but I’ll be stocking up for some extra last-minute secret Santa ideas!

Gingerbread blocks will be available in stores up and down the country from Monday, the 31 of October.
