Baileys have dropped a Pavlova flavour and I can taste a new summer cocky-T

Everyone already knows pav is the official New Zealand summer staple!

Baileys just introduced a new flavour to its selection and it couldn't be more ideal for our Kiwi Christmas parties!

Just in time for the holiday season, the latest line-up of scrumptious flavours from the liqueur company includes the might tasty sounding Baileys Summer Berry Pavlova.

Since we've been serving it with everything from coffee to cakes for years, I'm now certain that it goes well with just about anything.

Everyone is aware that pav is the traditional New Zealand summer Christmas flavour.

However, Baileys went ahead and intensified the holiday spirit by adding the limited-edition pavlova flavour, so the Christmas countdown has officially begun!

According to the press release, the brand-new festive flavour will “Indulge your palate as creamy meringue blends with the tart yet delicious taste of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.”

YUM!

It’s recommended to enjoy it over ice or in a creamy cocktail made from 50ml Baileys Summer Berry Pavlova, 25ml vodka and 50ml milk, decorated with strawberry sauce, store-bought meringue and fresh berries.

Of course, with all of those flavours, it would be hard to say no to one more but we do advise responsible drinking this summer!

Alternatively, you can flex your creative juices and make your own twist on the pav cocky-T just like @gengishkhan who posted his creation to Instagram.

In an Instagram reel, Khanh whips up the perfect sweet treat for the warmer months

He said: “Imagine— crisp, lightly toasted lemon myrtle scented meringue topped whipped cream spiked with native pepper berry, vanilla swiss meringue, pandan pastry cream and passionfruit curd finished with fresh berries, lemon myrtle, macadamia and coconut ice cream and a drizzling of the new and limited time Baileys Summer Berry Pavlova.”

That sounds like quite the mouthful but it sure does look bloody tasty!

Unfortunately, we don’t know when it will be released here in NZ (low-key rude tbh), but we’ll be sure to let you know when it drops in stores!
