Huge news for fans of both 'Sex Education' and 'Schitt’s Creek'. The beloved Dan Levy will be joining the cast for 'Sex Education' Season 4!

Netflix has announced the news, confirming that Levy will be playing Thomas Molloy, an author who teaches Maeve at Wallace University in the US.

We can see a sneak peek of those very famous eyebrows appearing in a teaser for the 4th season of the hit Netflix show.

For those of you who don’t know 'Schitt’s Creek' ended on its sixth season back in 2020. Dan Levy played a massive role in creating the show as well as playing his character David Rose - which won him four Emmys and the hearts of everyone who watched.

That’s fkn huge!

'Sex Education' will be Levy’s next big television show since the ending of 'Schitt’s Creek' and we are sure he is going to bring a lot to the table.

That’s not the only news about the upcoming season though.

Who is leaving 'Sex Education' Season 4?

Tanya Reynolds and Patricia Allison, who played love interests Lily and Ola, will not return for the fourth season of the series.

“It’s just the natural progression of these shows, when you have such big ensemble casts and so many characters, I think you have to let a few older characters go to make way for newer ones, which is absolutely the right thing, the way it should happen,” Reynolds told RadioTimes of her Sex Education departure.

Keen to know who’s returning to 'Sex Education'?

Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield,  Ncuti Gatwa, Aimee-Lou Wood, Connor Swindells, Kedar Williams-Stirling, Mimi Keene, George Robinson, Chinenye Ezeudu, Dua Saleh, Alistair Petrie, and Samantha Spiro have all been confirmed to return for season four and filming is currently underway in Wales.

Netflix is remaining tight-lipped about a release date, simply saying that “you’ll have to wait a bit”.

It’s likely that with all the Covid interruption the show experienced with the last two seasons we won’t be seeing season four until mid-2023.

It’s a bloody wee while away but it will definitely be worth the wait!
