Steph and Cal write tribute songs for Jacinda Ardern that she definitely wouldn't approve of

"This is going to be controversial"

We're sure you've all seen the news by now that Jacinda Ardern announced that she is stepping down as Prime Minister of New Zealand.

After hearing the sad news, Cal and Steph decided to write a song to farewell our beloved Aunty Cindy from leading the country.

Cal wrote his farewell song to JoJo's 2004 tune 'Leave (Get Out)', with some pretty savage lyrics.

He admitted to being nervous to share his song, pre-warning that the views were not his own but on behalf of the New Zealand Herald Facebook commenters A.K.A boomers that were not Jacinda fans.

Steph wrote a song to NSYNC's 2000's hit 'Bye Bye Bye' which I'm sure we all know and love, which was a little bit tamer than Cal's.

Watch their heartfelt songs below.

We really didn't expect Cal's song to be so cutthroat and Steph nailed it as usual.

"You said that it was two shots for summer but it was such a waste of time" had me screaming.

If you're Jacinda Ardern and you're seeing this, no you didn't.
