Matt LeBlanc shares his final goodbye to 'Friends' co-star Matthew Perry

The Friends star shared a heartfelt tribute to Matthew Perry.

Matt LeBlanc has shared his final goodbye to Friends co-star, and on-screen roommate, Matthew Perry.

LeBlanc and Perry played best friends Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing on Friends, with their on-screen chemistry being one of the many highlights of the iconic show.

Posting on Instagram, Matt called his time working closely with Perry “among the favorite times of my life.”

At the time of Matthew Perry's passing on October 28th, Matt LeBlanc joined his Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and David Schwimmer for a joint statement saying " We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family".

However, Matt's post earlier today is the first solo statement from the main cast addressing Perry's passing.

"It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.

Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love."

LeBlanc signed off his message in true Joey fashion, writing " and I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

In 2021, LeBlanc and Perry, along with the rest of the main Friends cast, reunited for the Friends Reunion Special.

Speaking with ET at the time, Perry, alongside Leblanc and David Schwimmer, who played Ross, said they are ‘a very loving, tight-knit group, and when we see each other, it’s a very heartwarming thing.
