Lewis Capaldi has finally taken on the fiery challenge of First We Feast’s ‘Hot Ones’ interview.
While he was close to cracking under the heat, the singer made it through the whole interview. As he started strong he didn't hold back when it came to his thoughts on his DJ Khaled’is shockingly poor attempt at the challenge.
Remember Khaled's infamous bail-out after just three wings back in 2015? Well, Capaldi had some choice words for that. He boldly stated: "You should've kicked DJ Khaled the f**k out of here”.
Sean Evans, the host, chimed in, saying, "If you don't finish your food..." To which Lewis simply responded, "F**k off!" Ouch, that's a spicy burn!
He didn't stop there. Capaldi went on to describe Khaled's performance as "mental." I mean, seriously, tapping out before even reaching the halfway mark and leaving poor Evans to clean up the rest? That's pretty wild if you ask me.
But the most memorable moment came at the end of the interview. Drenched in sweat and tears, Capaldi bid his farewell with a special message for Khaled: "DJ Khaled, if you're out there, eat my sh**." Well, that's certainly one way to say goodbye!
Now, it wasn’t just Khaled who felt Capaldi's burn. He also had some playful jabs at others too.
He teased his mate Ed Sheeran for not properly cleaning his wings during his challenge back in July 2021.
But it wasn't all roasting and teasing. Capaldi couldn't help but express his admiration for Jenna Ortega, who fearlessly faced the Hot One's with a straight face.
"Jenna Ortega," he said, "She can f***ing handle a wing!"
And after surviving the dreaded Da Bomb Beyond Insanity Hot Sauce, he couldn't contain his admiration, shouting: "F***ing Jenna Ortega! She is good!"
Well, I think a round of applause is in need for Lewis Capaldi's attempt, and he can be glad he successfully completed the dreaded challenge, even if there were a few tears along the way!
