Twitch streamer Amouranth shares the crazy income she gets from live-streaming herself sleeping

I think I'm in the wrong career!

It seems like sleep streams are all the rage these days, and they're bringing in some serious moolah. Making money while snoozing? Yes, you heard it right! Amouranth, the queen of streaming, has found a way to cash in on her beauty sleep by live-streaming it on Twitch.

Amouranth - real name Kaitlyn Siragusa - is a 29-year-old internet personality, streamer, and OnlyFans model. With over six million followers on Twitch, she's built quite a following. During an interview on 'The Iced Coffee Hour' podcast, she spilled the beans on her various money-making ventures, including sleep streams.

Now, you might be wondering, what the heck is a sleep stream? Well, it's exactly what it sounds like. People can tune in to watch others sleep through the night. Apparently, there's an allure to it that keeps viewers coming back for more.

Graham Stephan, the podcast host, was flabbergasted when he learned about Amouranth's sleep stream earnings. He asked her how much she makes on average from these streams, and her response was mind-blowing.

"If you count just on Twitch, probably like a couple of thousand dollars," she said.

"But, if you count the conversions, potentially, to OnlyFans while I'm sleeping, then maybe like $10,000-$15,000."

The hosts were left speechless by those staggering figures. They couldn't help but wonder why she doesn't sleep stream every single night. Amouranth explained that scheduling can be a bit of a nightmare (no pun intended) making it challenging to organise these sleep sessions regularly.

She also revealed on the poddy just how long it took for her to reach a six-figure salary from working as a streamer.

This isn't the first time Amouranth's sleep streams have caused a stir.

Last year, Howard Stern stumbled upon her channel and was utterly perplexed.

"One of the top Twitch streams currently is a live feed of just a hot woman sleeping," he said.

"You watch that? Is that good? What do they do? Do you think they're really sleeping, or are they just pretending they're asleep? You gotta be really hot to get dudes to pay to watch you sleep... Forty-four thousand people watching this woman sleep."

Either way, with that sort of money coming in, it's definitely working in her favour and she doesn't plan to stop any time soon! Can you blame her?!
