YouTubers Trisha Paytas and Colleen Ballinger AKA Miranda Sings appear to have started a podcast together, but is this project doomed before it’s even begun?
The trailer for the podcast dropped on the official ‘Oversharing’ YouTube Channel, showing snippets of the two chatting about literally anything and everything they can think of - did we expect anything else?!
We’re talking about becoming new mums, fupas, mental health and questioning the future of the podcast.
This is where it starts to get messy.
Despite the teaser being posted to an official ‘Oversharing’ YouTube account, there seems to be a miscommunication between the two YouTube stars.
While Trisha has announced that the podcast is on its way and is promoting it as an ongoing series, Colleen is seemingly under the impression that it was just a one-off.

In a video titled ‘Mother’s Day Surprise’, Coleen explains she and Trisha have been talking about doing a podcast episode together for a while, however, she randomly says: “I don’t know if we’ll ever do this again, so let’s just go full out.”
Now, this has me wondering whether Colleen is hesitant of committing to this project with Trisha because of Trisha’s messy past with a friendship-based podcast.
YouTuber Adam McIntyre explains that whenever Trisha is involved in a podcast it seems to be the final straw in her friendships. We’ve seen it with Jeffree Star and most recently with Ethan Klein on the ‘Frenemies’ podcast.
The two had a major falling out, which played out in an explosive episode of the podcast. Trisha later posted her own YouTube video announcing her departure from ‘Frenemies’ and with that came the end of Trisha and Ethan’s friendship.
Many fans now suspect that the same fallout may occur between Trish and Colleen, with one fan questioning: “How long until Colleen and Trisha get into a huge fight a la frenemies?”
While Trisha has been promoting the new podcast, it seems Colleen has no interest whatsoever, and this fan defs noticed.
However, another fan believes it won’t end badly between the two if/when it does.
Welp, I guess we will just have to wait and see whether this podcast is legit. In the meantime, I’ll be eagle-eyeing Colleen’s social to see if she shows any interest in promoting it.
