Ryan Reynolds proves he's a humble king after getting called out by the iconic Shania Twain

How could Ryan Reynolds not impress you much?!

It was a memorable People’s Choice Awards 2022 for Ryan Reynolds after Shania Twain hilariously called out the actor during her ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ performance.

Shania, being the iconic performer she is, switched up the lyrics from her hit song, and instead of pointing out Brad Pitt, there was only one person in the room who deserved the attention, and that was none other than the lovable ‘Deadpool’ actor.

In case you were worried the actor may have gotten offended, the surprise lyric change did impress Reynolds to the max because he later took to his Instagram story gushing: “This may be the best thing that has ever happened to me.”

Fans also loved the lyric switch, with many calling it “iconic".

“The way he reacted is why he impresses me much,” wrote one fan who loved Reynold’s adorable reaction.

Another agreed writing, “He’s so humble… and love her!”

A third joked: “Brad Pitt’s somewhere like… wth did I do, Shania?”

Overall, both celebrities had a memorable night because they were honoured for their incredible careers - as they should be!

Reynolds received the People’s Icon Award, and in true icon fashion, he took the time to shout out those closest to him, his wife, Blake Lively and their three children together.

“Quite literally, you are my heart, you’re my hope, you’re my happiness. I joke that my family exhaust me, but in reality, [they] give me more strength than any man could possibly deserve.”

I think we all need a Ryan Reynolds in our life because that actually melted my heart!

Shania won the Music Icon Award, and while accepting her award, she used her speech to spread some positive words to fans.

“Embrace your individuality and your crazy ideas. Just be brave.”

Okay so from this, I’ve decided that we all need to see more of Shania Twain and Ryan Reynolds together, can I put that on my Christmas wishlist?!
