Horror lovers are fainting and spewing as 'Terrifier 2' movie takes 'messy gore' to new levels

"Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to light headedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.”

It’s hard to find a truly horrific horror flick. I’m not talking about a cute little jump scare or a predictable plot twist, but something that absolutely scares the bejesus out of you.

Well, there's a new horror flick in cinemas that is making even the bravest scary movie fans literally faint and spew because of its ‘gory mess’.

‘Terrifier 2’ has just come out and the plot follows the story of Art the Clown as he haunts a teenage girl and her brother on Halloween night.

WARNING: The trailer includes some graphic and potentially disturbing scenes.

Apparently, the ‘Terrifier’ has terrified people so much that some theatres have had to call emergency services because people have been passing out during the movie's more graphic and violent scenes.

"Terrifier 2 was an amazing gory mess. The guy behind me passed out cold and crashed into my chair, another guy left because he didn’t feel good, I overheard him say, and walking out the theatre door I heard a guy puking hard and loud in the bathroom," one moviegoer shared.

A second posted a pic from his friend's nightmare of an experience: "My friend passed out and the theatre called an ambulance. Highly recommended."

The movie is so gory that one of the producers of Terrifier 2, Steve Barton, posted a warning on his Twitter page for potential viewers: "This movie contains scenes of graphic violence and brutal depictions of horror.”

"Viewers who are faint of heart, prone to lightheadedness or have weak stomachs are advised to take extreme caution.”

"There have already been numerous instances of fainting and vomiting in theatres. For those choosing to continue, you have been warned…"

With a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from those who managed to brave the whole 2.5-hour ordeal, it seems like the horror is a must-see!

We’re not sure if the film will make its way to NZ theatres, but maybe that’s a good thing?! Idk if I’m brave enough to handle the terror.
