Charlie Puth is convinced that there is some one-sided beef going on between him and Harry Styles after a tweet went viral absolutely outing Harry’s location during his One Direction days.
During an appearance on the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, Charlie revealed that one time in 2014, he accidentally blew Harry’s cover in a sushi restaurant in LA.
Charlie recalled the incident saying: “I, for whatever reason, took out my phone and was like ‘you’re not going to believe this what a week in LA’”
“I signed a record contract, and who walks in? None other than Harry styles!”
Well, it turns out that slip of the tongue actually caused a swarm of paparazzi to show up - SHOCKER!
As expected, Charlie revealed that he and Harry did not become the closest of pals after that major f-up.
“Harry just looks at me, does a nod, and then follows me. I don’t know if that was a good follow. Haven’t heard from him since. I don’t think he likes me very much.”

This isn’t the only time Charlie has mentioned the cringe-worthy moment.
He previously mentioned in an interview with GQ that in that moment he was “really embarrassed”.
“Harry cheekily followed me after as a kind of f-you.”
I mean, it’s totally understandable why Harry would be pissed, and tbh if I was Charlie I would have become an Olympic sprinter that very second because I would be out!
So, we aren’t sure whether the beef still stands on Harry’s end, but Charlie seems to feel pretty regretful for his slip-up. Who knows, maybe Harry will watch the interview and reach out to put this whole thing to rest.
