Make-up artist Mikayla Noguiera is copping some major heat online for complaining about how ‘tiring’ being a TikTok influencer is in a now-deleted clip. Unfortunately, the internet lives on, and we’ve got the tea + the brutal reactions toward the “out of touch” social media star.
Mikayla is best known for impressive transformations, acne-covering hacks, and sassy af attitude on TikTok.
However, a now-deleted clip shows the influencer complaining two years ago about the amount of hours she’s putting into her job - spoiler alert: it’s a hefty 19 minutes more than the bare minimum.

According to Insider, things turned sour after the clip resurfaced of Mikayla responding to a comment suggesting that she should try working a 9-5 job.
"I just finished working and it's 5:19! Try being an influencer for a day, try it.”
The caption posted by @ilovewater2001 is shady as fck reading: “She’s such a hard worker, condolences Mikayla.”
Of course with how the whole comment comes across, it’s no surprise that Mikayla has since deleted it from her page.
However, @ilovewater2001 has now posted a lengthier version of the clip.
In the clip, Mikayla shares that her days consist of “filming videos, editing content, and "working on social media profiles and marketing.”
She went on to say that the process takes hours to complete and goes on about how tired she is.
As you can imagine, people were quick to drag Mikayla through the mud for her controversial comments from the past and let me tell you some of them did NOT hold back!
One person took to Twitter writing: “I feel so sorry for Mikayla Nogueira. She only gets off work at 5.19 it must be so so hard being an influencer - oh to be so unlucky!”
“TikTok is just really eating Mikayla Nogueira alive for her stupid “try being an influencer for a day” post and it’s very heartwarming to see. She was preaching to the very wrong choir about how hard her job is,” another added.
A third chimed in saying, “Mikayla Nogueira is so out of touch w reality it's painful”.
However, there were fans who came to Mikayla's defence for her previous comments.
"y’all fake mad at that Mikayla Nogueira woman. there’s no way y’all are mad that she finds being an influencer hard. so many content creators say this. y’all pick and choose fr," pointed out one Twitter user.
Another added: "This whole Mikayla Nogueira drama is fucking sickening. she made 1 small comment 2 years ago & y'all are acting like she committed a 1st-degree felony. how does it feel to be adults & bully tf outta someone who has been so open about their mental health issues? f*cking gross."
I think it’s clear that Mikayla made a mistake but surely two years on we can only hope that the TikToker has grown and learnt from her mistakes.
Although, concerned fans are urging her to apologise for her comments asap, social media tends to have a short memory. So who knows what's going on with this on-again-off-again cancel culture!
