Our love for Lorde is never-ending, but is it now a family affair? Lorde’s little sister Indy is joining the music scene, and we have to say we have some pretty high hopes for this one!
Taking to Instagram, Indy announced to her 28.4k followers that she is releasing her debut single, giving us an end-of-the-week treat.
The caption reads: “My debut song 'Threads' is out Thursday, Sep 15. Can't wait for you to hear.”
Indy revealed that she has kept the song to herself for a while, saying: “I've lived with this song on the subway, driving around blasting it in friend's cars for a second now.”
She followed the caption with a heart, fire and arrowed heart emoji, so something tells us that we couple be expecting some type of intense love story or that she just feels very passionately about her first release - I guess we won’t know until our hot little ears hear it!
What is known is that Indy's Instagram only has one other post, which is a song clip with her singing along to some lovely piano notes.
The caption simply reads: “soon”, so could soon mean this Thursday? We sure hope so!
Her followers instantly took a liking to the song, with one fan commenting: “Watch out world.”
“I Love this so much!!! You literally just found a new fan,” wrote another.
Famous singer/songwriter Parson James also shared his love for the song, writing, “Have had this on repeat for so long bb, I can’t wait!!!”
It seems like Indy already has a large following awaiting her debut, and you can definitely add us to that list! We can’t wait to see what else she has up her sleeve.
