Comedian and SNL star Pete Davidson is currently in the process of getting many of his over 100 tattoos removed.
If you’re wondering why, Pete has shared his reasoning on Late Night with Seth Meyers.
Apparently, it takes an extra three hours on film sets for makeup artists to cover Pete’s sizable tattoo collection.
“I honestly never thought that I would get an opportunity to act, and I love it a lot. It takes three hours - you have to get there three hours earlier to cover all your tattoos.”
For this reason, Pete is underdoing laser tattoo removal which is known to be a pretty painful procedure.
“Burning them off is worse than getting them because not only are they, like, burning off your skin, but you’re wearing these big goggles right? So you can’t see anything.”
Pete then explains that before the doctor lasers a tattoo, he confirms what the tattoo is of to ensure it’s one that is okay to remove.
Pete hilariously adds, “I’ll just hear ‘Are we keeping the Stevie Griffin smoking a blunt?”
