It is with sadness we can confirm Prince Phillip has passed away aged 99. The husband of Queen Elizabeth II was admitted to King Edward VII's Hospital on February 17th. He was then transferred to monitor a heart condition at St. Bartholomew's Hospital.

It is believed his illness was not related to COVID-19 as both himself and The Queen had their vaccine earlier in the year.

The Duke of Edinburgh and The Queen were married in 1947 and had four children together, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew.

He has many grand-children in including Prince William and Harry, as well as his great-grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

It has been reported that Prince Phillip wants a smaller military funeral as he was a veteran of the Royal Navy. It will most likely be held at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Our thoughts go out to the Royal Family at this challenging time.
