Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard says Season Four is "The Darkest Season There’s Ever Been”

According to Finn Wolfhard, Stranger Things season four is going to be the darkest season yet, saying “Every season it gets darker. Really I will say with season three I was like, this is the darkest season that there’ll ever be, like with the exploding rats and everything. But really, season four so far, it’s the darkest season there’s ever been.”

“Every year it gets amped up. Every year it gets funnier and darker and sadder, and everything. Every year, they amp it up!” said Wolfhard, and he’s not alone, Gaten Matarazzo who plays Dustin shares the same thought, that season four is going to be the darkest and scariest season yet, saying “Yikes, I think most would probably say it’s the scariest season out of the previous three.” Matarazzo then goes on to say how fun it is working on something so scary - which seems odd, but I've heard stranger things…

Unfortunately as of now, there’s been no release date confirmed for the fourth installment of Stranger Things, due to delays in filming last year.

On the bright side, delays last year allowed the Duffer brothers to write the entire show before filming started for the first time ever. Meaning, they had time to fine tune this season’s story into what may be the best one yet!
