Have you ever gotten really excited to have your avo toast in the morning just to discover that your avocado is still rock hard and unusable? Well an aussie mum may just have the lifehack so that we never have to suffer this tragedy again!
All you need to do for this easy lifehack is grab your avocado, wrap it in tinfoil and pop it in an airfryer for 10 minutes. The aussie mum discovered that after putting in her tough avocado in the airfryer the flesh was soft and easy to mash. After taking it out, put it in the fridge to cool and then mash the avocado well.
It will change the texture and taste of the avo but hey desperate times call for desperate needs when it comes to having our taste of avocado! When in doubt you can turn it into guacamole or just add some garlic salt to make it taste better. The lifehack has been celebrated online and can allegedly work on bananas too.
Don’t have an airfryer? You can also use this method by following the same steps and putting it in the oven at 100°C for 10 minutes. If it’s still hard just keen popping it in the oven for 10 minutes until it’s ripened. Doing this method will take longer as it can take up to an hour for avocados to soften in the oven.
