Normal people raise to the top of everyone's binge list last month as it followed the complicated relationship between high school lovers Marianne and Connell.
While the TV series and book left us all in the dark as to what was next for the couple, turns out we'll finally get some answers.
Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones will return for two special episodes set 40 years after they graduate from college.
"There’s a beautiful piece called Normal Older People, which is imagining what would have happened to Marianne and Connell 40 years from now," Said Richard Curtis.
“I promise you, these are two very special bits. It’s so much better than anything we’ve ever made. I mean, I can’t even say all about it, because there’s a guest star in it. But it’s really, really beautiful.”
The specials are set to air in Ireland and Northern Ireland June 26th however it's yet to be announced if both episodes will be coming to TVNZ like the rest of the season.
