A year after Demi Lovato's drug overdose, she took to the Grammys stage to perform for the first time since then.
She debuted a new song Anyone which was her first public appearance since the incident. She skipped the red carpet this year and made her return on the stage with an incredibly emotional performance.
This song was written as a cry for help she said and was written before she was hospitalised.
When speaking to Zane Lowe, she said,
You kind of listen back to it and you kind of think, 'How did nobody listen to this song and think, 'Let's help this girl?
"I was recording it in a state of mind where I felt I was okay, but clearly I wasn't," she said. "I even listen back to it and I'm like, 'Gosh, I wish I could go back in time and help that version of myself.'"
After the hiatus, Demi still wowed the crowd with the incredible performance, Go Demi!
