Kanye's latest event has been labelled as the new Fyre festival, not exactly the comparison you'd want...
Ye was performing his new album Jesus is King at Bethany Church, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and it was a free concert for fans to attend.
However, there was a charge for what he labelled at 'Brunchella', which was a breakfast plate which you could buy. This interesting looking breaky set the fans back $55USD (approx $85 NZD!)
Even though the money was being donated back to the church, there were many complaints, even one woman demanding her money back.
Kimberly Kinchen posted what was served at the event and its pretty grim. There are two strips of bacon, some pretty dry looking pancakes and an unidentified item (maybe a meat patty??)
"This is the wonderful & COLD brunch BUFFET we are being served,"
It didn't take long for people to compare the meal to those cheese sandwiches which were served at the infamous Fyre Festival.
The caterers have since responded with a statement:
"Lauryn's Fine Catering has been contacted about the poor service and quality of food provided during the event as a paid vendor.
"The catering company acknowledges it did not provide adequate food for ONE attendee and a social media post went viral. Any further inquiries or food complaints associated with the event can be directed to Lauryn's Fine Catering,"
