Cadbury are officially releasing a Pineapple Lumps chocolate block

UPDATE: The rumoured Pineapple Lump chocolate blocks has been officially confirmed by Cadbury this morning!

The chocolate is only going to be available for a limited time and will be available in stores from the 16th of September.

The company says the chocolate "combines chewy pineapple flavoured marshmallow with iconic Cadbury Dairy Milk" to create a new chocolate treat.

"We’re so excited to provide New Zealand with a new way to enjoy these two much-loved Kiwi favourites." the company said.

"Both Pineapple Lumps and Cadbury Dairy Milk are such classic icons, it’s great to be able to create a way to enjoy and share them in a new, delicious treat."

If you're keen to try the new Kiwiana flavour, it'll cost you $3.60 for a block.

Stop what you're doing, a new chocolate obsession could be on the way!

Not long after creating the mashup of our kiwi-treaty dreams with Perky Nana Lumps, Cadbury are back at it again.

Last week, New World Pioneer teased a new special edition Cadbury Dairy Milk and Pineapple Lumps chocolate block.

Posting on Facebook, the local supermarket said "Top Secret! Please don't share this, coming soon!"

As you can imagine, it didn't take long for everyone in NZ to start getting excited.

"Oh my god! Send me twelve" one person wrote, with another saying "Those look adorable!! Love Pineapple lumps!".

So far, Cadbury hasn't said anything about the potential new bar but we'll let you know as soon as they do!
