Love Island's Amber and Kem explain why they've broken up

Four months after winning Love Island, Amber and Kem have called it quits.

It was one of the biggest shows of 2017 and we couldn't have been more excited when Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay won Love Island. Since then they've been couple goals:

But today looks like love isn't real and we don't know how to go on because Amber and Kem are no more.

In a joint statement the pair said "With sadness, we've decided to separate" along with saying:

We fell in love in the villa and want to thank all the fans of the show for supporting us.

Our lives have changed beyond recognition over the past few months and our hectic work schedules have made it difficult to make things work.

We still have a lot of love for each other and will remain good friends.

The split took us by surprise consindering only two weeks ago Kem gave a lot of love to Amber while talking with OK Magazine:

We’re really happy and we know we’ll be together for a very long time, but we just don’t feel the need to jump into it.

We still need to do the stuff at the beginning of a relationship, otherwise you might as well retire, get married and have grandchildren in the next 18 months!

We'll that doesn't seem to be the case anymore...
