Recently Marilyn Manson labelled Justin Bieber 'a piece of shit' after Bieber allegedly told him he 'made him relevant again'.
Bieber wore a t-shirt with Manson's face on it, while performing last year. In response, Manson wore a Justin Bieber top on stage.
Bieber then created copies of the Marilyn Manson shirt and sold them as merchandise, replacing Manson's name with his own, claiming that the pair had agreed to him 'reinterpreting' the shirt and selling it for £150.
Manson has since called Bieber a 'piece of shit'.
Since Manson's remarks, he's revealed that Bieber actually sent him a text message.
Speaking to Howard Stern on SiriusXM, Manson said that the texts went something like:
Bro, it's Bieber what's up with that article? I thought we had a pretty pleasant interaction.
"Also, if anything wasn't squared away with the T-shirts I'm so sorry."
In another, the singer allegedly said: "Anyway, regardless, it kind of stung seeing that if I came off as an asshole or was just an asshole - I'm sorry."
Manson said that he defused the situation by texting back: "You were just you being you. No beef here," adding: "I just said 'you were just being you,' which could mean you're just being an asshole, or whatever."
Bieber really wanted to make amends and added that once again he was sorry and he thought they 'hit it off'.
According to NME, the conversation ended with Manson saying: "We are cool. People just made that shirt stuff into a fake feud. Let's turn it upside-down and fuck the press and do something together. It will be the best.
"And don't apologise, you weren't an asshole. They asked if you were and I sort of agreed. I wasn't out to get you."
