***WARNING DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T LIKE SPOILERS***
Okay then, don't say we didn't warn you...
A new "detail" has emerged in the new Netflix series 13 Reasons Why that will literally change EVERYTHING.
If you're reading this, then you would've *hopefully* finished the series (if you haven't then you probs don't wanna keep reading).
Anywaaaay, you probs know by now that the series is about a girl who takes her own life called Hannah Baker, and the 13 reasons why she decided to do it.
She sends each of her '13 reasons' a tape that tells the story of her life, and why she ended up taking her life (watch the trailer below).
Right from the first episode we assume that Hannah definitely doesn't survive... but this new detail lends itself to another theory.
Each of the 13 students that were involved in the tapes end up doing interviews where they tell their side of the story. During Zach's interview, we see the date is November 2017, meaning the show is set in the future.
And what does this all meaaaaan?
The significance of these interviews being set in the future means that Hannah's death and everything else inbetween is what COULD happen if nothing is done to save her.
So Hannah can be saved! Or... at least this is what this spoiler is implying, right? We can't be sure, but it sure looks that way!
It's also worth pointing out that this tiny detail also reinforces the show's overall message, which is that there is always time. There is always something or someone that can help.
