After careful consideration and guidance from authorities, Jim Beam Homegrown will be postponed until Saturday March 20th 2021. If the event were to re-run later this year we would run the risk of being stopped again by COVID-19 and it wouldn’t be in the best interests of our ticket holders or the wider public.
Below is a statement from the organizers regarding tickets and the 2021 event.
All existing Homegrown 2020 tickets will be valid for the 2021 event. For current ticket holders, there is no action required, simply bring your tickets along on the day.
As many of you have noted, our ticket Terms and Conditions specify that we are not liable for ticket refunds in the event of an epidemic/pandemic. However, if for any reason you can’t attend Homegrown in 2021 we will be setting up an authorised resale platform to enable you to get your money back. We have no doubt that you will be able to recoup your money by using a safe and secure re-sale process which we will be promoting aggressively throughout the entire 2021 Homegrown marketing campaign. In short, we will be using everything at our disposal to allow you to get your money back as soon as possible.
We are sorting details on the resale process now. If you are choosing to resell your tickets please REGISTER HERE. We will follow up with you directly by April 15th to provide instructions on how to resell your ticket/s.
We had an amazing event planned for you this year and we are cooking up new ideas to guarantee 2021 is even better!! We are only able to do this thanks to the incredible support from our suppliers, sponsors and the bands. This year COVID-19 has put a halt on the entire planet, together we will get through this and keep our yearly celebration of Kiwi Music alive.
We are sorry if this is not the answer many of you want or need right now. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your incredible support over the past 13 years. Hopefully, you can all make the new date for the party of all parties!
