Hollywood's hottest weird couple (or weirdest hot couple) have provided us with some unwelcome information yet again, recently confirming that they drink each other's blood.
This is obviously concerning for many reasons, but you know things are out of whack when the heads of the world's official vampire associations start chiming in with advice.
At the start of the year, Megan Fox infamously ended an Instagram post announcing her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly with "and then we drank each other's blood", but we weren't sure if she was kidding.
Unfortunately, in her latest interview with Glamour magazine she confirmed that was, indeed, a thing.
“Yeah. So, I guess to drink each other’s blood might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we’re like Game of Thrones, drinking each other’s blood.
"It’s just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other’s blood on occasion for ritual purposes only."
Ohh, sure. Only for ritual purposes. That's completely fine then!
Megan made it clear she's the more mature blood-drinker out of the two of them, as MGK is "much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic.
"He's willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, 'Take my soul'," she explained.
Megan, on the other hand, wants to just "shed a few drops of blood and... drink it".
Cool, cool, cool.
Anyway, who are we to judge? That job goes to real-life vampires.
Specifically, spokespeople (spokesvampires?) for The New Orleans Vampire Association (NOVA) and the Endless Night Vampire Ball.
The two groups voiced their concern via TMZ - another blood-sucking entity.
Vampires are of course pretty into the whole blood-drinking thing themselves but they have worries about whether MGK and Megan are going about it in the proper way.
Belfazaar Ashantison, the head of NOVA, urged the pair to ensure their significant other's blood has been tested because "vampires are not immune" to blood-borne illnesses.
Meanwhile, the founder of The Endless Night Vampire Ball cautioned the pair to use a medical professional to help them draw blood, rather than relying on MGK's stressful-sounding broken glass approach.
So hang on, does this mean MGK and Megan are legitimately vampires?
Well, NOVA states in their 'guiding philosophy' that rather than arguing over who is a real vampire and who isn't, the group seeks to "actually do things that have a constructive impact on the Community [sic] making life better for all even those that one may not agree with".
Unsure if I can look at my Twilight books the same way now, tbh.
