Kim Kardashian is officially a single lady!
It's not new news that Kim K and Kanye West are going through a divorce at the moment .. quite a messy one at that.
In a recent ruling, Kim's petition to be declared legally single has just been granted.
This means Kim will be dropping West from her last name and her marital status is officialy single, but it doesn't mean her divorce is final.
The change in her status comes after Kanye tried his best to slow down the divorce atfer Kim claimed he'd "been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media." Kanye filed documents claiming that Kim cannot prove he was the one writing the social media posts.
Among these posts included Kanye taking fire at Kim's new Mr, Pete Davidson.
According to Daily Mail, Kanye's attorney (who he's just hired after firing his last one) had a list of requests on behalf of the rapper before Kim was declared single. This list of requests included wanting to prevent Kim from transferring any assets in trusts she has, and wanting to waive her right to have any future husband refuse to testify about communications with her. Both of these requests were denied by the judge.
The hearing also means Kanye is officially single.
